Assistant Professor

Dr. Michael Washington has more than 30 years of experience across various business sectors, including oil and gas, consumer products, nonprofits, education, and food services. He has served as an adjunct professor at both Loyola University of Chicago in the Quinlan School of Business and Union Institute and University. Micheal has extensive experience in large-scale implementation, change management, and a strong belief in human-centered and conscious-driven decision-making.

Michael has enjoyed working in numerous countries in North America, South America, and Asia, providing senior leadership and training in supply chain, chemical and contract manufacturing, engineering, and research and development. He has directed entrepreneurial ventures in supply chain management and currently leads Profesa, LLC., a consultancy focused on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, operational excellence, and leadership development.

Michael attended Tuskegee University for his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Fisk University for his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He earned his Master of Arts in History and Culture from Union Institute and University and completed his Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies, Ethical and Creative Leadership, from Union Institute and University.
