Suzanne has worked as a mental health counselor for over 30 years in a variety of settings, including schools, community mental health and inpatient behavioral health facilities. As the Supervisor of Student Support Services in a large school district, she was responsible for implementing restorative practices by delivering trainings for teachers and staff, conducting restorative circles and conferences, and mentoring staff. Suzanne has been a professional speaker on restorative programs for The Virginia Department of Education, The Washington Area Boards of Education, and The Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University.
In addition to her role as an Instructor for the IIRP, Suzanne serves as the Chief Development Officer for Restorative Education, LLC, where she has developed and delivered trainings on advanced circles and conferences, restorative parenting, the PEER program and preschool restorative circles. Suzanne earned a Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Springfield College and a Master's degree in Counseling from Rhode Island College.
