This powerful three-day experience will immerse you in the restorative culture of the IIRP’s model programs, CSF Buxmont (Community Service Foundation and Buxmont Academy) schools for delinquent and at-risk youth. In three empirical research studies, the programs were shown to halve offending rates and improve social values and self-esteem.

Participants will attend an initial briefing about the schools’ restorative strategies and empirical research results, then spend three days observing interactions among staff and youth, participating in circles and attending end-of-day staff meetings. An IIRP instructor will help participants process what they’ve seen and heard.
